Freight transport to and from Poland

Poland is one of our busiest lanes — above all the axis between Polish plants and Germany, but also ordinary exports and imports from Slovakia. Short distances mean loading often happens on the day you order and unloading the next morning.

Directions we drive to and from Poland

Most shipments move between Polish industry and German customers; the second strong direction is exports from Slovakia going north.

From Poland into Germany

The Polish direction we drive most. Loading in Silesia, Greater Poland and around Wrocław, unloading in German plants and distribution centres.

Silesia and southern Poland

Katowice, Gliwice, Kraków and Opole are a few hours from Slovakia — suitable even for loading and unloading on the same day.

Poznań, Wrocław, Łódź

The industrial belt across the centre and the west, served as full loads and as part loads.

Warsaw, the Tricity and the north

Components and finished goods into the Warsaw area and the northern ports; southbound we pick up return loads.

What we carry on Polish lanes

Automotive components, plastics, furniture, packaging material and finished goods on pallets.

Full loads (FTL)

A whole vehicle for one shipment and direct delivery — on a short run often the fastest option too.

Part loads (LTL)

A few pallets to or from Poland without the cost of a whole vehicle.

Temperature-controlled

Goods that must not freeze — a common requirement on Polish lanes in winter.

Express deadlines

Catching up a missed delivery — on a short run we often still make it the same day.

From enquiry to signed CMR

All we need is the loading and unloading address, the number of pallets, the weight and the date. The quote goes out within 2 hours; on short Polish runs we can often confirm a vehicle for the same day. Once the order is placed you have the dispatcher who follows the job through to unloading.

Every shipment travels with a CMR consignment note signed at loading and at unloading, and the carrier's liability is covered by insurance under the CMR convention. If the goods are handed over against a pallet exchange or delivery notes, we agree that beforehand so the driver has nothing to negotiate at the ramp.

Poland and Slovakia are both in the European Union, so no customs documents are needed on these lanes — the transport document and the papers for the goods are enough. Toll and charges are part of the price. For a shipment that starts and ends in Poland we place the order with a carrier holding the relevant entitlement.

Indicative transit times

Ranges from Slovakia with one driver; Polish lanes are among the shortest we run.

Silesia, Kraków, Opole
Often loading and unloading on the same day.
Wrocław, Poznań, Łódź
Usually 1 working day.
Warsaw and the Tricity
Usually 1 to 2 working days.
From Poland into Germany
Usually 1 to 2 working days depending on the unloading region.

The times are indicative, not a binding promise — they depend on the unloading window, traffic and the driver's mandatory rest. The date is confirmed in the quote.
