Freight transport to and from Germany
Germany is the direction we drive most often — from a single full load to regular lanes for manufacturing companies. We book the vehicle for your time window, confirm the loading in writing, and you have one dispatch contact throughout. We also carry shipments that both start and end inside Germany.
Typical lanes and directions
We run German lanes in both directions — exports out of Central Europe and distribution of German production to its customers.
Within Germany
Loading and unloading both in Germany is one of our most frequent jobs — typically between the industrial regions of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia.
From Central Europe into Germany
From Slovakia, Poland, Czechia and Hungary we carry into German plants and distribution centres. Loading can be planned for the day the shipment comes off the line.
From Italy and Romania into Germany
Longer inbound lanes from Italian and Romanian plants run as full loads; when the deadline is tight we put a second driver on the job.
Out of Germany into the rest of Europe
A German loading can be paired with unloading in Austria, Czechia, Poland or Slovakia — a return load keeps the price down.
What we carry on German lanes
Mostly industrial goods on pallets, in crates and in stillages. The shipment decides the vehicle and the regime, not the other way round.
Full loads (FTL)
The whole deck for one shipment, direct delivery with no transhipment — the usual choice on German lanes.
Part loads (LTL)
A few pallets without paying for a whole vehicle. Lower price, wider delivery window.
Temperature-controlled
Goods that must not freeze or overheat — a vehicle with a controlled temperature and a log with the paperwork.
More about the serviceDangerous goods under ADR
Paints, adhesives, batteries and technical fluids with a driver who holds a valid ADR certificate.
More about the serviceOversized cargo
Machines, moulds and structures beyond standard dimensions. We arrange the permits and the routing up front.
More about the serviceExpress deadlines
A stopped line in a German plant means direct delivery on a dedicated vehicle.
More about the serviceHow the order and the paperwork run
The enquiry needs the loading and unloading address, the dimensions and weight, the number of pallets and the date you need. You get a quote within 2 hours — with the price, the vehicle type and the expected times. Once the order is confirmed you get the contact for the dispatcher who runs the job from loading to delivery.
Every shipment travels with a CMR consignment note signed at loading and at unloading; it is the proof that the goods were handed over and in what condition. The carrier's liability is covered by insurance under the CMR convention. For higher-value goods, state the value in the enquiry and we will arrange additional cover. Copies of the documents go out electronically, originals as agreed.
Trucks pay a distance-based toll in Germany (Maut) and drivers' hours are strictly enforced — both are part of the price and of the routing, so you never have to come back to them. When loading and unloading are both in Germany, we place the order with a carrier entitled to do it, and we keep track of the cabotage rules, not you.
Indicative transit times
The ranges assume normal conditions and one driver, counted from collection.
- Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg
- Usually 1 working day from Slovakia.
- North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse
- Usually 1 to 2 working days.
- Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Hanover
- Usually 1 to 2 working days.
- Within Germany
- Loading and unloading often on the same or the next day.
These times are indicative and not a binding promise — the unloading window, traffic and the driver's mandatory rest all move them. The actual date is confirmed in the quote.
